By accessing or using Care Companion ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not create an account or use the App.

Care Companion is a personal health management application that helps you track medications, appointments, side effects, weight, nutrition, mood, and journal entries. The App is provided by Elaine, built on the Base44 platform, and is intended for personal, non-commercial use.

• The App is a personal tracking tool and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
• Reminders, insights, and nutritional estimates generated by the App are for informational purposes only and are not a substitute for professional medical advice.
• Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making decisions about your health, medications, or treatment.
• In a medical emergency, call your local emergency number (e.g. 000 in Australia) immediately — do not rely on the App.

• You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
• You agree to use the App lawfully and not to misuse, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the service.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the health data you enter.

The App is intended for use by adults (18 years or older) or by minors under the direct supervision of a parent or legal guardian. By registering, you confirm that you meet this eligibility requirement.

The App's design, branding, and software are owned by Elaine and the Base44 platform. You retain full ownership of the health data you enter into the App.

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Elaine and Base44 shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App — including but not limited to missed reminders, inaccurate insights, or reliance on App content for medical decisions.

You may delete your account and all associated data at any time using the Delete Accountoption in the sidebar. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
